The Tiraspol Cereal Complex has been providing services for growing and harvesting agricultural products for over 30 years in Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.
During this time we have managed to accumulate a lot of useful experience for working with different grain and oilseed crops. Today "Tiraspol Cereal Complex" owns more than 25000 hectares of land intended for the cultivation of quality crops. Modern agrotechnics, experienced employees and properly equipped granaries also help in this task.
The plant has been actively investing in upgrading its equipment and production technologies to improve the quality and range of its products, making it one of the largest food industry enterprises in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.
The area of irrigated land is 4,252 hectares, for the irrigation of which 67 sprinkler systems have been installed. Arable land is located on the territory of the city of Tiraspol, as well as in the Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol and Dubossary districts. The main crop is wheat, occupying 8,000 hectares (45% of the sown area). An additional 2,000 hectares are allocated for rye, barley, peas and buckwheat, which are used as raw materials for the production of flour and cereals. Rapeseed, mustard, corn and sunflower are grown for subsequent sale.
The money received from the sale is used to purchase seeds, fertilizers, protective equipment, spare parts for equipment and machinery imported from abroad. Last year, the planting material was diversified with flax, soy, sorghum and millet seeds.
