Barley is a fodder and technical grain crop, also used in brewing and production of pearl groats. It is cold tolerant, high yielding, suitable for deep processing and storage. Nutritional value: contains slow carbohydrates, fibre, vitamins B3 and B6, phosphorus, magnesium and beta-glucans.
